Going to BlogHer this year? Just the thought of appearing in the same room with over a thousand blogging women - many of whom I admire and respect - is enough to send me into a panic attack.
Before going to the conference this year, I want to make sure I'm looking and feeling my best, and I know I'm not the only one. Last year, I decided I wanted to be "hot" by BlogHer, and while I made a valiant effort, it still wasn't as much as I had hoped.
So this year I really want to be "hot" by BlogHer - looking my best, feeling positive and energized, and ready to take on the world. And I want you to join in with me - as I've already learned from Kristen's Shredheads challenge, changing habits is far more fun in a group.
Want to join in? Then start now by thinking about what you want to do to be your best - be hot - by BlogHer. Maybe you want to lose some weight, or just tone up to look great in short sleeves and a cute cocktail dress. Maybe you want more self-esteem so you aren't overcome by debilitating shyness around your fellow bloggers. Whether your goal is external, internal or both, I'm hoping you'll find motivation and support here.
What if I'm not going to BlogHer?
You're still welcome to join in! Set July as the endpoint for whatever goals you plan, and work towards you goals at the same pace as the rest of us.

To join up, send me an e-mail at amommystory[at]gmail[dot]com with your name, blog and/or twitter link. Write a post on your blog stating your goals for BlogHer and send me the link so I can add it here. (Not required - if you want to keep this private on your blog, I understand.)
Starting next week (March 16), I'll have a weekly challenge available for you. Each week will have a fitness challenge, a diet challenge, and a personal challenge. Pick one and do your best to complete the challenge that week. At the end of the week, report in here and tell everyone how you did.
(I'm currently working on some prize support, too. You know, for extra motivation.)
Each week, I'm also opening up this blog for all of you to share your tips with your fellow bloggers. These can include recipes, favorite fitness gear, ways to think positive, etc. If you would like to guest post, let me know and we can arrange that, too.
